Everybody loves a good fish story, correct? Okay, it's Wednesday evening on Lake Orion on the Badwater Bass circuit. Al and I were getting some minor production on the east side of the lake. The greedy bas%!#ds that we were though, we wanted more, so we moved on to some other spots on the lake that had been fortuitous to us in the past. A few minutes before we left the area, however, I see the Vaden boat hovering over our area like a python waiting for the mouse to be dropped. Out we went, in they came. Guess who's boat had the big stringer? The Vaden boat, working said area. Go figure.
In celebration of the Olympic spirit where we know who won each match before it happens, there was a spoiler alert after the session Wednesday. It was revealed that Al had clinched the Angler of the Year award with one session left. Guess who orders the trophies for the Bass Club? One Mr. Al. That is going to be one large trophy I will have to believe. Nice job Alvin.
