Day two on the circuit has us in possession of the first second keeper as Slick Al brought in a three four-plus pounder to take the big fish kitty. Yes, you are not seeing things with Slick's name crossed out. He had the big fish kitty and with rain on the way, the only thing remaining for him was the victory speech. But little did he know that Al had other ideas and even got his winning fish at the place Slick and I were at when we saw the rain coming and fled.
Other than the production from those two though, it's been a challenging fish. The structure has been there and floating by, you are saying to yourself, "there has to be a fish in there." Six soda pops later, no fish. As Mark C's dad would say (with the thick New England accent), "we were working haaad."
I am making a call though that Monday will be monster bass day; granted if poker night is done by then.
