The spring outdoor project, besides pulling many dandelions, is complete as the mechanically DE-clined one dug himself a very deep, clay-ridden hole, stirred up some cement for the first time ever along with some pea gravel and planted the base for my first ever flag pole purchase. It's supposed to be able to withstand 70 mph winds but hope it never comes to that. Again, my first time mixing cement and think I did it correctly but check back in a month with hopefully no reports of aluminum into the front window or the leaning flag pole of Oakland County tourist attraction. That would not be fun.
In tribute to the fish outing next month, some seadog flavor was added as Jolly Roger is smiling proudly below the stars and stripes.
