Whoever taught the Vaden boys how to fish did a good job as the younger one brought in a 10 pound bag to the weigh-in Friday night on Lake Orion. Based on his production so far, I was expecting to write in this entry that the elder Vaden had clinched the Angler of the Year award but it might come down to the final session on the Detroit River before that is determined. Yours truly is fishing for pride (and prize money) at this stage of the season. All is not lost though. Did I mention I was fishing?Rather than the standard fisherman with fish in front of them picture, I've been encouraging the Badwater members to get creative with their fish presentations.
