Way Back Machine - Buying Things At 2 AM

The way back machine takes us to the late 80's/early 90's in Rose Township when a group of friends gathered over the holidays. After a few soda pops had been consumed, one of said friends boasts about a recent purchase he had made, The Flowbee! The do-it-yourself hair cut machine that hooks to any household vacuum! Operators are standing by now. We'll throw in these Ginsu knives if you order in the next 10 minutes.
So, the cutter was hooked up to the vacuum, E volunteered to be cut and.....I hope those Ginsu knives were good as I don't think E got the "new Jan Brady" look he was hoping for. All worked out though as the entertainment alone for the cut I think was worth the price.

Ice Hanging

This entry would usually be set aside for Super Bowl morning ice fishing stories of the one that got away; however, the Seattle-like downpours we had last week put the "kibosh" to that vision. So, rather than a story of seven people falling through the ice, we thankfully give a story of seven  hanging near the ice; and enjoying it! As there were no fish to be had, there were no awards to give out for biggest or most. I guess if an award needed to be given, it would go to Gordie for his fashion portrayal of Elmer Fudd. Rock on Gordo!
