Pontiac Lake - Rider Way Back Machine

cool sign - stay away graffiti!
First of all, three cheers for the new (think it is new) mountain bike trail sign at Pontiac Lake. Hope the locals don't take graffiti to it (sad but true).
Second of all, while I was enjoying a post ride beverage after a dip in Pontiac Lake, I encountered 'Team Orange.' A group of riders who ride for whatever reason but best of all, they gather. It threw me to the way back machine on all who have rode on the tour back to when we were pedaling on the horse trails at Highland Recreation Area in the late 90's; somebody hurled as I recall but names will be nameless.

The tour has been a "who's who" of north Oakland County (ha):
- Jim M.
- Gus
- Mark C.
- Doke (he made it through half of Pontiac Lake - waiver granted)
- Trig
- Eddie P.
- Rob S.
- Shawn B.
- Dave Kop. (west coast honorary bicyclist)
- Dave McV (honorary for hoofing bags on Mackinac Island on a bicycle)
- Beth L. (husband was on American Ninja Warrior show - did well)
- Corey G.
- Slick (he made it through half of Island Lake - waiver granted)
- Judy P. (she will pass you with vengeance)
- Sally M. (rode with baby seat - no baby)
- Jackson R. (Millennial boy)
- Joe K.
- Joe F.
- Shawn L. (she will pass you as well)
- Dave Mun.
- Gordie M.
- Pat B.
- Tommy M.
- Darren P. (aka Hardcore)
- Scott W.
- Teresa P.

I am probably missing someone but I can't say a bad thing about anyone in this list; that is a good thing.
Thanks to all who have came out and keep pedaling.

Team Orange - glad the Molson Tour is a bit less spandex
